Foundry House is a converted 1920s ironworks turned members' workspace — 4,200 square metres of studios, desks, daylight and the best coffee in the district.
The Building
Original steel, new intentions. Every corner of the House is designed for a different mode of work.
Membership
All memberships include 1 Gb/s fibre, barista coffee, printing, showers, bike storage and the Thursday kitchen table.
Why It Works
We kept the ironworks' bones — brick, steel, nine-metre ceilings — and added what modern work actually needs. The result is a building people cross town for.
Life Here
The Roastery opens. Early birds take the courtyard, flat whites on the house before eight.
Library floor goes silent-mode. Phone booths full, heads down, the good kind of quiet.
Members' lunch — one long table, whoever shows up. Half our collaborations start here.
Talks, tastings or a founder AMA. Then the lights dim and the night owls settle in.
