Privacy Policy

Effective 1 July 2026 Applies Worldwide

This policy explains, in plain English, what personal data Codelith Lab collects when you use our websites or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to preview.codelithlab.com, codelithlab.com and our client work worldwide.

01Who we are

Codelith Lab is a digital agency registered in Pune, India (Sr. No. 61/1A, Lipane Vasti, Ambegaon BK, Pune, Maharashtra 411046). We build websites, apps, AI products and the ZupiChat platform for clients around the world.

For anything in this policy, contact us at business.codelithlab@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact forms and email — your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company name and the message you send us.
  • Project information — briefs, content, credentials and other materials you share so we can deliver your project.
  • Billing details — the name, address and tax information needed for invoices.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics data — pages visited, time on page, referring site, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address (via Google Analytics).
  • Technical logs — standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect card numbers or bank credentials — payments are handled entirely by our payment processors (see section 05).

03How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare proposals or estimates.
  • To deliver, invoice and support the services you engage us for.
  • To improve our website — understanding which pages help visitors and which don't.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.

We do not sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.

04Cookies

Our sites use a small number of cookies:

  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — help us understand site usage in aggregate.
  • Preference cookies — remember simple choices such as a dismissed banner.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the sites will keep working. Most browsers also offer a “do not track” or private mode.

05Third parties we work with

A small set of trusted providers process data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics — website usage statistics.
  • Stripe, PayPal and Wise — payment processing. They receive the details needed to complete your payment; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Hosting and email providers — run our websites and mailboxes.

We only share the minimum data each provider needs to do its job.

06Your rights (GDPR — EU & UK visitors)

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Portability — receive your data in a common, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction and objection — limit or object to certain processing, including analytics.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.
Data Protection Contact

To exercise any of these rights, email our data protection contact at business.codelithlab@gmail.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Where we process your data, we rely on one of these legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, or a legal obligation.

07Data retention

  • Enquiries — kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
  • Client and financial records — kept for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law (typically 8 years).
  • Analytics data — retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention controls.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

08International transfers

Codelith Lab operates from India, and our providers (such as Google, Stripe, PayPal and Wise) may process data in the United States, the EU or other countries. Wherever data travels, we rely on recognised safeguards — such as the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent protections — so your data receives a consistent level of care.

09Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version always lives at this address with its effective date shown above. Meaningful changes will be highlighted on this page.
